E.l.f. Essentials Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils review + swatches

Hi Dolls,
Today I want to make a short review on elf shimmer eyeliner pencils (you can get one, entering my giveaway!). These eye lovers cost only $1, so I ordered almost every color available lol :P I was really curious about the quality though, and I guess with elf - you can never go wrong, because I'm positive surprised :)

As for one dollar pencil I have to say that packaging doesn't look cheap at all. Each pencil has sharpener cap, so it's really convenient (I never can find my sharpeners, when I need them), and they are really soft and easy to work with.

Creamy and good pigmented, can be used as a eye liner, eye base, or even eye shadow :) I wouldn't recommend using this product on your waterline though. They blend really well too. I really like colors, shimmery and gorgeous!

What do you think about this product Ladies?

E.l.f. Essentials Liquid Eyeliner review and swatches

Hi Girls,
When I first got this eyeliner, I wasn't very pleased by it, but after a few weeks of using it I actually start to like it.

My biggest cons of this product was that, I needed to be extra careful applying it on, because it has tendency to smudge a lot. After application, all my-very-inpatient-self had to do, was just wait a little bit - it dries up quick and stays on really good.

I have 4 colors:  Midnight, Plum, Coffee and Black (last one is not on the pictures )

Midnight, Plum, Coffee

+ good quality for the price - $1
+ like I said above, eyeliner stays on pretty good
+ easy to remove
+ good pigmentation

- I was expecting brighter colors (plum looks more like a bright brown than a purple), they look different on the website, than in a real life.

+/- I don't like how thick applicator is, but It depends what you feel more comfortable with, I like very thin eyeliner brushes

have a fab day!

Sedu Pro Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron (1 1/2") review

Sedu Pro Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron (1 1/2") review

Hi Beauties!
Today I want to talk about Sedu straightener that I'm using since December. I've ordered it from folica.com for $129 and it came with heat proof pouch as a free gift (I think they still include it with this iron purchase) and 2 year warranty.

As you can tell on the pictures I have a looot of hair (taking these pics made me realize, that I definitely need a haircut lol ). Yeah, but let's focus on the tool :)
I've had around 5 flat irons before this one, and they didn't cost more than $40. This time, I decided to pay  more, but at least be satisfy with my new tool,  and not worry about my hair being all curly and messy after a few hours. I'm also a person that is very inpatient, so on daily basis, I won't spend more than 5min straightening my hair. Sedu definitely is my favorite.
It is ready to rock my hair after less than 25 seconds. It has adjustable temperature control, so you can choose right temperature for you hair type. Exclusive "Infra Red Heat Technology" gives your hair extra shine and luster :D
On the pictures below you can see my hair before and after Sedu.

Straightening it took me less than 5 minutes. My favorite thing about this iron is, that it keeps my hair straight until next wash, and works good on bad weather (wind, rain). What straightener do you use, Girls?

My January favorites

February 02, 2011

My January favorites

Hi Ladies,
January is over,so it's time for my favorite products of the month! :)

Lets start with the product, that I'm using every single day, since I got it in July, lol:

1. NYC  Smooth& Natural Matte Powder Bronzer

I'm obsessed with all bronzing cosmetics, and bronzers were always my favorite face products. I love this powder because its matte, so I can use it in winter, and not worry, that I look all glittery fake bronze haha. This powder stays on a long time and it's also cheap, don't remember exactly how much I paid but it was less than $5 for sure. I got shade sun glow, and color is really nice brown, not orangy at all. Great for contouring, or just using all over face to give skin some sun kissed look.
2. John Frieda FRIZZ-EASE Hair Serum Thermal Protection

I have long, dark brown hair, hot tools are on my daily basis, especially straightener. That's why I always try to use products that will help protect my hair against the heat. So far didn't find any good heat protecting spray (any suggestions Ladies??) so I'm staying with oil serums etc. I like this one because the smell is amazing! haha love how it smells and my hair's soft and smooth after.

3. TRESemme Firm Control hair spray

My best smelling hair spray so far! Not too heavy or sticky, but holds really good. Not tested on animals! I also have shampoo and conditioner from this brand, really start to like it!

4. Veet Spray On Hair Removal Cream

I tried it for the first time few days ago and I really like how simple application is! Just spray all over your legs, wait 5 minutes and take it off. My legs were really smooth after it. I used to use Nair's hair remover lotion, but my skin was really hurt and sore after. Veet spray is much more delicate and works really good, so yes, definitely one of my January's favorite :)
