Wet n Wild Limited Edition Fauna Collection review!

 Hey Girls,
This Wet n Wild  limited edition "Fauna Collection" came out quite long time ago, but I just now realize that I've never really used it or did a review on it. I remember that I bough it for $3.99, because it was on sale and let's be honest, who could resist getting this cute looking kit for THAT price?! There were two different shades available, ( I think the other had green and orange eyeshadows), but I've picked up this one.

L'oreal EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner review!

Hey Ladies,
I've heard a lot about L'oreal new Cleansing Conditioner lately and because I've never tried anything like that before, I wanted to see how it will work with my hair.

The label says that this product is: sulfate free, has no harsh salts, is paraben free, 100% vegan with natural botanicals. It promises a lot and because I use a lot of hot tools on daily basis, I thought it will moisturize my hair just perfect.

So let's start with the whole washing hair process. For my long hair I needed at least 9-10 pumps of the product. I didn't like the application, because the cleansing conditioner doesn't create any foam and I felt like the product didn't reach all of my scalp, if that makes sense. After I dried out my hair, I could feel my hair being a little bit "greasy" or just heavy, plus worse of all left me with a flat top. My hair lost their volume, and if I have to be honest, I think I would get the same results using just a regular conditioner.

Unfortunately, I'm not very happy with this product and maybe will use it once in a while, but definitely not more often. Too bad, because the description was very promising, oh well.

have a great day Beauties,

Foundation talk! Revlon Age Defying with DNA Advantage review

Hey Beauties,
With almost end of July, and unfortunately not very hot weather here, I start looking for a good foundation for combination skin. First, I really wanted to get Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme, but they didn't have it in stock, so I ended up getting Revlon Age Defying in Soft Beige with SPF20.

I got home and I start reading reviews (usually I'm doing it first, but I thought I'm gonna come back with ColorStay Whipped Creme) and then it started... I've read hundreds of negative reviews about this product. How shimmery and grease makes your skin to look, the coverage is bad etc. I was literally very disappointed, but I know that every each of us has different type and skin needs, so obviously I was very curious to try it out anyways.

This morning I applied my moisturizer, E.l.f mineral primer, the foundation and set it up with E.l.f Complexion Perfection. First, what I noticed, was that the product is very buildable. You can work your way up to medium coverage, which I achieved easily.

The texture is creamy, something between thick and liquid. I applied it with my Sigma F80 foundation brush (my fav of all time!) and it went on very well.

Revlon Age Defying in Soft Beige - not blended

I read that Age Defying has a little bit of shimmer in it, but honestly it's not visible unless you take picture with flash of the product swatch and anyways it only gave my 23 year old skin a beautiful glow! It's definitely a deep dewy finish. I was checking myself throughout the day to see how the foundation stays on and my face wasn't grease or shimmery and the product stayed on pretty good.

Revlon Age Defying in Soft Beige - blended (picture with flash, where you can notice a little bit of shimmer)

I think this foundation would be perfect for dry, normal and even combination skin! I wouldn't recommend it for the oily types, because of the shimmer that might end up looking grease. I really like this foundation and will definitely will keep using it.

Have a great weekend,

Japonesque's wild Safari Chic kabuki brush review!

Which one of you doesn't like animal print ? I mean, I definitely have a THING for any safari print, either if it's leopard, zebra or even giraffe lol ;-) I love it on clothes, shoes, bags, skincare and my makeup (check out my Victoria Secret Secret Craving review post haha), so when I was contacted by Japonesque to do a review on their new brush from Safari Chic line, I was super excited.

The brush I got is called Safari Chic Bronzer Brush, and it's a synthetic kabuki brush.

I never had synthetic kabuki brush before, so I was curious how will it work with my bronzers and other powders, but after trying out few times, I can say that I'm very satisfied: product is distributed evently and the brush itself is high quality made and CRAZY soft, ahh, like for real!

It doesn't shed which is good, it keeps its shape after washing and... looks really cute! (wild?) :D And because it's synthetic it's an animal-friendly product!

Safari Chic brush set & bronzer brush is available in ULTA. My kabuki brush cost $22, but there is also a mini brush set available for $29.95 which contains three brushes.

Enjoy your day Ladies,

Rimmel nude/pink lipsticks haul and review!

Hi Ladies,
I'm on the mission to find my perfect pink/nude lipstick for a while already and unfortunately, I'm still not fully satisfied with what I discover lol. Or the lippy is too pink, or is identical with my lips color so it's not really what I'm looking for. Just to make it clear, all lipsticks with gloss on top look fabulous, but I want a lipstick, that looks just right without any gloss etc. ;-) We will see!

My last lipstick haul consist mostly Rimmel lippies, which are pretty affordable and had good reviews. I decided that before splurging on a lipstick, that I won't be sure I will like, I'm going to test shades/colors with cheaper version to find my perfect shade.

From left: Rimmel Lasting Finish 006 Pink Blush, Rimmel Moisture Renew 220 Pink Chic, Rimmel Volume Booster 117 Glam and Rimmel Lasting Finish 070 Airy Fairy

I found these lipsticks very pigmented, creamy, last quite long but as you will see below Pink Blush and Pink Chic are almost identical...

Pink Chic as well as Pink Blush are very pretty bright pinks, good for nights out not necessary for day time for me. Pink Chic feels like it moisturize my lips better and gives it more wet look, that I really like. Pink Blush is more creamy, more pigmented with less shine, so it pops out more but because it's a really bright pink doesn't look that flattering on me, at least during the day.
Edit: I actually start loving Pink Chic and so far I wear it almost every single day. It's actually a very pretty girly pink, perfect for summer!

Pink Chic and Pink Blush (no lip gloss, picture with flash)

Glam and Airy Fairy look quite similar, where Glam is more brown nude and Airy Fairy is more rosy brown/pink shade. I actually like them both especially with a gloss of top, but still, they are too similar to my natural lips color. Glam feels more moisturizing on my lips and give them more shine which I really like.

Overall, I have to admit that considering lines, I'm not a big fan of  Lasting Finish, which for me is just too matte, heavy and dries out my lips after a while. I really liked Moisture Renew line ( has SPF 18!) and will definitely check out more colors from it!

What are yours favorite drugstore nude/pink lippies ? I would love to try out some more shades!

Have a fab Sunday!

Celebrity inspired shoes haul - studded flats and wedge sneakers!

Hi Loves,
Ah I swear I'm totally obsessed with shoes. They are super cute, trendy and very affordable! This is just my another order and everything looks and fits just right.

 Pointy studded flats

Lately, I'm in love with everything that's studded or spiky and just edgy but at the same time colorful, so when I saw this cute yellow flats for $15.40 I needed to get it. I order size 7 and it fits perfect, color is just how it looked like on the website and they are very comfortable. The studs shake a little bit when I'm walking lol but I still love these shoes!

Wedge sneakers

I wanted wedge sneakers for a while, so when I saw them up on the website I ordered immediately ;) Had some trouble deciding which color I want (was torn between grey and black) but ended up getting black. Fit true to size and looks on awesome! I paid $34.60

Looking forward to any new arrivals on their website haha!
Have a great day Dolls,

Catrice haul & review - my favorite European drugstore brand!

Hi Ladies,
I decided to restock my favorite drugstore under eye concealer today and like always, I came back with some extra products haha. Catrice is definitely my favorite drugstore brand in Europe. I can't get enough of how high quality their products are and the color variety is just perfect for me, AND all of that for really affordable prices.

The concealer that I mention above is their Re-Touch Light Reflecting Concealer (my shade 02 light beige).

I was using this product almost every single day and when I ran out of it, I re-purchased immediately. I love how light it feels on the skin and it highlights my under eye area wonderful. I think it's a perfect product to use for highlighting your whole face, so I'm not only applying it under my eyes but also on all areas, that you should highlight while contouring and the finish effect is very natural but refreshing at the same time. My shade is light beige which is a little bit lighter than my skin, but the product blends in with my skin really good and it gives me that fresh and awake look.

Another thing I love about this concealer is definitely sleek and elegant packaging and easy way of application ;-)

Another thing that I picked up was Catrice Eye Liner Pen in Black. I have a black eyeliner from Catrice and it's really long lasting and pure black, but I don't  really like the applicator - I prefer more precise brushes/pens/whatever. This one has more pointy pen applicator and the formula is the same so this definitely will be my everyday eyeliner to-go :)

I couldn't say no to these babies ;-) I picked up 350 Starlight Expresso - cool neutral light-medium brown and 520 Bonnie & Cloud gorgeous blue with subtle shimmer in it. Again I was positively surprised how pigmented and creamy these shadows are. They are NOT CHALKY AT ALL and feel very soft. I think, I need to come back to Catrice stand soon and pick up some more goodies haha!

From left: Catrice Eye Liner Pen in Black, Catrice Light-Reflecting Concealer in Light Beige, Catrice Absolute Eye Colour in 350 Starlight Expresso and 520 Bonnie & Cloud. All swatches made without primer.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Primer challenge! the Porefessional by Benefit vs E.l.f Mineral Infused Face

Hi Beauties,
Today post is all about primers. I own two which I use on daily basis and I decided to do a review and compare high end one with the drugstore. High end one is the Porefessional by Benefit Cosmetics ($30) and drugstore is Mineral Infused Face Primer by E.l.f ($6)

Some time ago there was a lot of hype about new Benefit Porefessional balm/primer that was suppose to minimize the appearance of pores, so I really wanted to try it out and it turn out to be my favorite.

First of all what is the most important to me in any kind of primers, as for the person who has a combination skin - is to avoid getting oily T-zone. I've got two different results with these products.

Keeping the skin matte  & lasting time
Let's start with Benefit's the Porefessional - no matter if I'm using foundation, bb cream or tinted moisturizer - this primer keeps everything in place for hours and most important thing - keeps my skin look beautiful and matte.

With E.l.f's primer though, it depends what product I will use on top. Keeps my face looking matte with only foundations, unfortunately whenever I have my bb cream on, it's not doing a very good job keeping everything in place after few hours and my face starts to get a little bit oily.

Minimazing the appearance of pores
Visible effects after using the Porefessional, not so much after E.l.f. Still my skin was super smooth after using both!

Application & texture
the Porefessional is a translucent, nude balm, and E.l.f is a consistency of a clear gel. Application both products is very easy and afterwards your skin feels incredible smooth. I love it!

left: E.l.f  | right: Benefit

Overall I like both products. It depends how much you want to spend on a primer. I use E.l.f almost every day and the Porefessional on a special occasions, whenever I want my makeup to last all day/night. I will definitely repurchase Benefit's because I was really impressed with the results!

What are yours favorite primers? I would love to try other brands!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Cheap Ebay fake lashes review!

Hi Dolls,
Finally, I've received my lashes from Ebay ($6 for 40!) and I couldn't wait to try them out. I've read a lot of reviews before ordering (as I wasn't really trusting the quality etc.) and most of the reviews were actually quite positive! I'm just starting to experimenting with fake lashes, so I thought that cheap ones will be perfect to practice on.

I got four different shapes: two really natural looking and two more a night time lashes (they actually look more natural on than in the package, proof my picture below wearing the ones on the right below)

Anyways, what I can definitely say about these lashes is that they are quite soft, you obviously need to trim them before applying (it's very important to get the perfect length) and that I don't really have anything bad to say about them... Of course they are not the same quality as the expensive lashes but when compering to those which cost few bucks per pair, I would say - same quality.

me wearing nr 2

I tried on one natural looking and one thicker and both lasted all day and after I removed them, they actually kept their shape. After cleaning them with alcohol, I totally can re-use them again!

I think for someone like me - kinda new to fake lashes, those are really great to practice on and they look really pretty.

have a great Sunday,
