Nyx Cosmetics Lipliners in Currant & Prune Review and Swatches!

November 18, 2013

When I start buying all those dark, vampy lipsticks this season, I completely forgot about the good lipliner to put it all in place. If I have to be honest, I don't really feel like spending whole lot of money on a lipliner. Lipstick yes, but lipliner not so much. Few months back I bought NYX lipliners and I really liked the quality (review here), so I decided to buy two additional shades that will go great with my dark lipsticks.

:: Currant - this shade is a dark redish brown. I actually expected it to be a bit more reddish, but it still goes great with my MAC Talk That Talk  and NYX Espresso lipstick
:: Prune - this dark purple lip liner is a close dupe for MAC Nightmoth and I personally think it is such a gorgeous Fall/Winter shade. It doesn't look goth on the lips and goes great with my MAC Rebel lipstick (review soon) and even NYX Lala (my latest favorite)

NYX Currant & Prune
 Swatches: Currant, Prune

Summary:
Another portion of Nyx lipliners in my collection and all I can say is that these pencils are soft, pigmented, have beautiful shades and are SO affordable (I got buy one get one 50% deal from Ulta.Com ).

What are your favorite affordable lipliners?
