Crown Brush HD Set with Mirror and Tweezers includes 6 synthetic fiber, vegan friendly, makeup brushes, tweezers and the mirror, all in a cute leather zipper case. There are 3 set colors available: orange, purple and white. I was lucky enough to get the lavender-purple one for review purpose, which I absolutely love.

First of all I want to say is that there is one thing that bothers me the most when it comes to makeup brushes: I seriously just can't stand bad quality brushes. I am a sucker for nice packaging and colorful brushes but I feel like most of the time the pretty looking ones turns out to have a really bad quality and it is nearly impossible to work with them. Crown Brush HD Set were my first Crown Brush brushes and I can't believe that you can actually get affordable brush set that looks so pretty and has such a soft, dense bristles.

I am in love with this set and I can't believe that it only cost $16.77 (!). The brushes are super soft, they don't shed and are easy to work with. If you are new to makeup brushes, each one of them has printed its purpose on the handle:
:: Pro Powder - perfect for face powders, setting powders, bronzers etc.
:: Tapered Blush - can be used for blushes, bronzers and highlighters
:: Deluxe Contour - perfect for contouring with bronzer
:: Chisel Shadow - great for eyeshadow application
:: Crease Blender - blending brush
:: Detail Liner - eyeliner application (this is the only brush that I wish would have more pointy shape and be slightly more dense, which would help more precise application)

Since all of the brushes are synthetic, you can use both powdery as well as creamy products.

Summary:
This beautiful and soft makeup brush set is a must have for its price. The brushes are high quality, they blend both powdery as well as creamy products well and I just love how pretty they look!

  1. I bought some Crown Brushes at the Makeup Show. I was very impressed with the quality considering how inexpensive they are. I think they're going to end being a great alternative to Sigma.
